Dan Palladino’s generous response in support of numerous THS projects has earned him a rightful place in the Athletic Hall of Fame. A 1974 graduate of Torrington High School, Dan’s generosity has contributed to the successful endeavors of the Booster Club, baseball, National Honor Society. Project Graduation, Close-Up and just about every sports team. When “it’s for the kids”, Dan is there to help.
Dan’s willingness to assist extends well into the community as he has helped in the fundraising efforts of Altrusa International of Litchfield County, Center Congregational Church, Connecticut Yankee Chorale, Action Wildlife, and Forbes Flyers just to name a few.
Beyond the civic, religious, and school organizations, Dan has contributed to individuals with serious illnesses and charitable foundations. Friendly Hands Food Bank is another recipient of his generosity. The snowstorm of October, 2011, found Dan’s business without electricity, but he managed to provide free coffee and food to those who were affected by the storm and to utility workers.
Dan continues to work hard and help whenever he can and the THS community is extremely thankful for all his efforts.
