Hamilton, Brimah and Stewart fill up AAC weekly honors list.

Hamilton had a breakout week for UConn as he averaged 16.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game in two games.

He led all scorers with 25 points to go with 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in a 75-72 loss at Memphis and had seven points with nine rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and three steals in a 67-60 win against Tulane.

Averaged 19.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and shot .929 from the field (13-of-14) in a 1-1 week.

AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Breanna Stewart * F * 6-4 * Jr. * UConn

Stewart averaged 27.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game while shooting 70.6-percent from the field in a 2-0 week for UConn. Stewart accumulated those averages in only 26.5 minutes per contest.

The junior started the week with a 26-point, five rebound, and four assist effort in UConn's win over Houston on Tuesday. Her 26 points came on 11-16 shooting in 26-minutes of action against the Cougars. 

She followed that up with a season-high 28 points in a win at Tulsa, 23 of which came during the first half, on 13-18 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and six blocks.
