Mills softball standout signs with Florida State College.

C.C. Murphy, a senior softball player at Lewis Mills High School has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for Florida State College in Jacksonville next year.
Florida State College is an NJCAA member school with a strong softball tradition.
The Blue Wave are a combined 96-30 over the past two seasons, winning the Mid-Florida Conference Championship in 2012.
C.C. has been a four year starting catcher for the Spartans, excelling on both sides of the plate.
She has a .503 career batting average and a .908 slugging average.
"CC Murphy is an exceptional young lady. Her focus, intensity and passion for the sport have set a new benchmark for the softball team here at Mills" said Spartan coach Dave Bohmer.
C.C. is a three time All-Berkshire League first team selection, helping the Spartans earn one Berkshire League Championship and a three year record of 45-15.
