---Torrington: Christine Gamari stepped down recently from her post as head coach of the Raiders volleyball team, a team that made a State Finals appearance two years ago and a quarter final appearance a season ago.
Gamari will stay active with the team and is now teaching at the high school, which is a big win for THS.
A new coach was thought to have been on board but changed their minds recently when another job offer came up.
AD Mike McKenna is actively looking for a replacement for a coach who left the program in tremendous shape.
---Donnie Crossman takes over as AD at The Gilbert School, taking the reigns from Pat Cooke who remains at the school and as a coach.
The Gilbert School has big plans for expansion of their athletic facilities and Crossman will be tasked with guiding that along.
