Press release from the Titans regarding decision to cease operations
TORRINGTON, Conn. (Feb. 8, 2011) - Despite a successful 2010 inaugural season highlighted by generating ,000 for local charities, a membership of 527, leading the ACBL in attendance, and winning the Kaiser Division, the Titans will not be able to currently move forward with a second season due to a lack of membership support.
Over the last month, multiple leagues and three groups, including two from the Litchfield County/Torrington area, reached out to weigh the financial viability of running a collegiate summer baseball team at Fuessenich Park. There were a number of variables to consider on their end. Ultimately, each group decided not to pursue the idea.

"T-Town," the documentary which explores the Titans and the Our Baseball Haven experience, is currently in post-production. We thank you and will notify you once the documentary is finished.
What will be difficult is shutting down a business and a model that we have invested so much in for the past two years. Most difficult is saying goodbye to the many members, supporters, and other great people we have met along the way.
Thank you for your support,
THE OBH TEAM
