To finish out the week, the Lady Wildcats hosted a double header JV Scrimmage with Wright Tech on Saturday morning.

Wright Tech is in its first year of athletics and is playing two years of JV status.

Wolcott Tech was eager to play Wright Tech’s first double header. Justin Williams, the Wright Tech Athletic Director and Softball coach was very pleased with the way his team played and the opportunity to get more field time for the girls.

The Wolcott Tech coaching staff of Jennifer Garzone and Jamie Coty were equally impressed with field time and comradery between the two teams, playing a game they love on one of the nicest days of the spring season to date. Both schools had such a great experience that they will be doing this again in May. At the end of the game, both schools got together for a team photo.

We are looking forward to some nice weather and more softball games.
