Titans Outlook: When asked what his objective was coming north to play in the FCBL for the Titans, the former University of Hartford hurler summed it up easily.

"I want to win the whole thing." Engerhart said. "Why else would we play?"

That attitude is sure to make Titan manager Misha Dworken a happy coach, Torrington is in search of their first ever summer college baseball title.

Engelhart had a solid season for the Sand Sharks in 2013, posting a 4-5 record with a 4.65 ERA in 79.1 innings.

His team got out of the gate rough but improved as the year went on.

"We started slow but then meshed towards the middle of the year." Engelhart said. "When I was throwing first pitch strikes, things went well for me."

USCB started 3-7 but went 24-16 after that and made their conference tournament as the sixth seed, a surprise to most.

Engelhart had a highlight performance in the tournament agaisnt St Thomas when he threw six innings of four hit, one run ball.

At Hartford, he appeared in 25 games, 17 as a starter and played summer ball those two years in the Cal Ripkin league.
