Titans Outlook: As a left specialist out of the bullpen for the Ravens this spring, MacInness has seen action in seven games, including one start.

In his game of the season to date, MacInness earned a save over nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University on April 2 by throwing two thirds of an inning, walking one while striking out two.

Frankilin Pierce won that game by a 3-1 score and has a 33-8 record as of April 30.

In 10 innings, he has posted 11 strikeouts and has a 2.70 ERA. Left handed batters are having a tough time with MacInness, they are batting just .133 (2-for-15) in 2011.

The Ravens are a strong program, as witnessed by their remarkable run in 2010 that saw them post a 43-17-1 record on their way to a NCAA East Regional Championship and a semi-final birth in the NCAA’s.

The Ravens are a top 20 team in the nation again this season and do it with a combination of timely hitting and a tremendous pitching staff.

Before Franklin Pierce: Spent a post-graduate year at Bridgton Academy. Was a two-time All-league selection at Plymouth (Mass.) North High School. Captured a state championship as a junior. All-Scholastic selection in his senior year. In club level baseball, MacInness was part of a team that won a national championship at the Royals Baseball Academy.

Played Hockey and football at Plymouth North. Two-time All-League selection earned in hockey and was named team MVP during his senior year.

Also All-League in football during his final year in high school.

Personal: Son of Liz and Thomas MacInness. Has a younger brother, Dan and an older sister, Alex.

Criminal justice major.
