Titans Outlook: Another quality arm in the bullpen gives manager Gregg Hunt a stable that is filling out nicely.

2010: Saw his first action as a member of the Highlanders against Brigham Young on Feb. 19. Was ranked fourth among the team’s pitchers in opposing batting average.

Appeared in five games, pitched 3.2 innings and struck out six.

High School: Four-year letter winner at El Segundo High School for head coach John Stevenson. Led the Eagles to a 22-9 record and into the CIF quarter finals in 2009.

Two-time All-Pioneer League selection, earned First Team All-League honors in his senior year.

Posted a stingy 1.59 ERA in his final year while holding opponents to a .178 batting average.

Participated in the 2009 South Bay All-Star Game. Lettered in soccer for two years and was a member of the principal’s honor roll.

Personal: Benjamin Lee Doucette is the son of Patrick and Teri Doucette who is majoring in business administration with the goal of owning his own business one day.

Considers Chase Utley of the Philadelphia Phillies his favorite athlete.

Hobbies include water skiing and snowboarding.

Cites his dad as his greatest athletic influence because he taught him to play the game and showed him what kind of work ethic it takes to be successful.
