Titans Outlook: Jones and his Phoenix teammates as still busy with their post-season play after Elon won the Southern Conference Tournament and the automatic bid that it brings.

Elon faces off against UNC Wilmington on Friday, May 31.

Jones batted .268 with 24 runs scored and 16 driven in this season in 32 games (28 starts).

In his freshman year, Jones started 29 of the 47 games in which he appeared and drove in 11 runs

Recorded his first collegiate hit in game one of a doubleheader sweep of George Mason.

Went 3-for-4 with a double at Wake Forest

Drove in two runs in a SoCon win over UNCG.

Before College:  Was a three-year starter and letter-winner for Chris Causey at Western Guilford High School before moving to Virginia …

Played his senior season for Peter Schumacher at James River High where he earned all-district honors.

Named the 2011 District Player of the Year and collected all-region status after hitting .456 with 30 runs scored, 11 homers and 33 RBI.

Helped the Western Guilford program to three conference titles and was a two-time all-conference pick.

Compiled a three-year batting average of .365 while leading Western Guilford in both on-base percentage and runs scored as both a sophomore and junior.

Collected academic all-conference accolades in 2010.
