Kaleb Holbrook

College: South Georgia College

Year: Sophomore

Position: Catcher

Hometown: Dawsonville, GA

Titans Outlook: One of three catchers the Titans will start the year with, Holbrook was recruited by Rhett Jones, a Titan in 2012 who will be returning in 2013.

At South Georgia College, Holbrook had a solid year at the plate, hitting .307 with 36 runs scored and 24 RBI's.

He attended Dawson County High School where he caught and played third base.

"I like being in the action all the time and the best place to do that from is behind the plate." Holbrook said. "When Rhett (Jones) asked me if I would like to go to Torrington with him to play summer ball I thought it would be a good chance for me to work on my game and maybe get noticed."

Having a former minor league catcher in head coach Misha Dworken is a good thing for Holbrook and his other backstops, they will learn from a pro.

Holbrook had a .416 on base percentage and stroked 11 doubles, a home run while walking 22 times.
