Michael Fabiaschi is getting the hang of life in AA with the Midland Rockhounds and is starting to contribute in the clutch.

On Tuesday night, the Torrington native came up with the bases loaded and two out with his team trailing Corpus Christi by a 6-4 score.

One swing later, the game was tied after a two-RBI double by Fabiaschi that put runners on second and third but the Rockhounds could not push across the winner.

Midland would go on to lose the game in 10 innings by a 7-6 score.

Since being promoted from Stockton in Class A Advanced ball, the former P-38's star is batting .286 in three games.

The Oakland Athletic prospect continues to work to get himself noticed, a clutch hit like the one he nailed on Tuesday night is just what the doctor ordered.
