Jordan Williams included in trade with the Atlanta Hawks that brings Joe Johnson to Brooklyn.
Former Torrington High School star and current Brooklyn Nets forward Jordan Williams has been included in a trade package that will send him to the Atlanta Hawks for Joe Johnson.
Williams, who averaged 4.6 points and almost four rebounds a game in his rookie season in New Jersey, was traded with Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro, DeShawn Stevenson and the Houston Rockets 2013 lottery protected first round pick.
The former Raider enters the second year of a two-year contract and is expected to see considerable playing time with the Hawks.
Brooklyn has been trying to get additional star power for their upcoming 2012 season in their new home, the Barclays Center and to convince star guard Deron Williams to stay with the club.
