Odenwaelder named Player of the Week in the NESCAC playing for Amherst College.

Odenwaelder continued his stellar rookie season, going 9-for-18 on the week with a .722 slugging percentage over Amherst’s five games. He started it off with an impressive effort against Division I Dartmouth on Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with a walk against the Ivy League runners-up. He stayed hot on Wednesday, turning in a 3-for-4, two-RBI opener at Eastern Connecticut before going 1-for-3 with a walk in the nightcap. Former Wamogo standout Mike Odenwaelder is making a name for himself in his first season at Amherst College.

He will play again this summer in Torrington for the Torrington Titans in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
