Teti scores 15 to lead Torrginton girls past Wilby

Caroline Teti scored all 15 of her points in the first quarter to lead the Torrington High girls basketball team to a 59-17 victory over Wilby on Wednesday night in a Naugatuck Valley League matchup.

Teti hit three 3-pointers to help the Lady Raiders open up a 19-10 lead after the first eight minutes. Torrington outscored Wilby 11-0 in the second quarter and then cruised from there.

Mia Barbieri scored 10 points for Torrgington (6-2), which got scoring from 10 players en route to its second straight win.
