Titans sign former Pomperaug HS All-State infielder.

Torrington, Ct:  The Torrington Titans are proud to announce the signing of Southbury, Ct native Brian Fay (Siena University) for the 2012 season. Fay attended Pomperaug High School. He is a versatile athlete who can play all four infield positions. He has been an All-Division, All-Conference, and All-State performer at Pomperaug, hitting .397 with two home runs and 24 RBI's his junior year. Fay is expected to compete at both in the infield, and outfield for the Titans in 2012.
"We feel that Brian could be an impact player immediately offensively," Siena Head Coach Tony Rossi states. "Fay is one of the top hitters in the state of Connecticut, and within a short amount of time, he should be able to put up large numbers. We're really excited to have Brian in the program and feel that he will be a major addition to our program and community."
