You’re cordially invited to the Wolcott Tech Lady Wildcats second annual Pink-Out Girls Volleyball game vs Terryville High School on October 19, 2012.

Games are being played at the Wolcott Tech Gym with a 3:30 p.m. jv start, followed by varsity.

The football team are also playing a “pink out game” the following day with proceeds also going to the Pink Rose fund.

Tickets are .00 for adults and students .00.

Proceeds from the game will be donated to the Pink Rose Fund at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. They provide funds for educational outreach and screening to assure that the women of Northwest Connecticut have comprehensive, coordinated access to services related to breast cancer screening and treatment.

Spectators are encouraged to wear pink. A representative from the Pink Rose fund will be at Wolcott Tech, as well as some breast cancer survivors related to our team and will talk about their experiences.

The idea for our Pink Out Game, came from our 2011 Girls Volleyball team.

Our 2011 Team Co-Captains Jocelyn Jones, Logan Bassett, Rachel D’Amato, Chelsea Tokarz, with senior managers Dennis Waibel and Jack Farrington worked with the entire girls volleyball team to hold OWTS first Pink Out Volleyball Game.

It was a success and the seniors of the 2012 season, Tori Parsons, Emily Benson, and Jenn Hislop look forward to working with the entire team making this year’s game a great success as well.

See you at the game.

Ray Tanguay and Terri Bambakidou
